Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts in your country of residence to use the service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Listings & sellers

• Sellers and artisans warrant that listings are accurate, lawful, and that they have the right to sell or perform the service.
• Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, counterfeit goods, and anything restricted by Nigerian law.
• EBuy may remove any listing or suspend any account that violates these terms.

4. Orders & payments

Buyer payments are processed securely. Wallet top-ups are processed by Paystack and other licensed providers.

5. Fees

EBuy charges a service fee on completed transactions and may charge optional fees for featured listings, subscriptions, or expedited support. Current fees are shown at checkout.

6. Disputes

If something goes wrong, open a Live Chat Support ticket within 7 days of delivery. Our team mediates fairly using order history, evidence, and chat logs.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Fraud, harassment, hate speech, or impersonation.
• Off-platform payments.
• Posting personal contact info in public listings to dodge fees.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from your profile settings.

9. Liability

EBuy provides the platform "as is" and is not the seller of items listed by users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to amounts paid through the platform in the 90 days before a claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
